Hurray for Benji!

So my boy went to the potty three times today. I am so proud of him. The first two times he had to have my help, and the last time he went in all by himself and took care of everything all by himself. It was so cute. I found the trick is to make them walk around naked or at least with no diaper or underpants on. The messes at first may be bigger and more involved when cleaning up, but they are very short lived because it scared Benji into doing it on the toilet. When he had his training pants on he just went right in them and didn't care. When he was naked, it freaked him out and he did end up going number 2 on my floor, but then he made sure he went in the potty from then on. Wow, I know it will take a lot more time, probably a few more days, weeks, months, I don't know, but I am so proud of him.
