So I thought I would share a little piece of what I've been up to the past couple of weeks. I have completed most of my projects. I guess I'm saving my room for last because it is going to be the most time consuming and I have to move more furniture in there than any other room. First I got these cool crayons off of etsy at www.studiojk.etsy.com. I put them on the door to the boys room. She has such great ideas on her website. I love them. Plus she sent two flowers for free and I was crazy and put them in my bathroom on the mirror, but they actually ended up looking good in there because there are pink undertones in the counter and tile on the floor.
The blue room is the boys. I just painted one accent wall and then added the chair rail. The cove/office room used to be ugly wood paneling, but I painted it a tan color and all the trim white. The front room used to be really dark brown wood and I thought it would be cool to make it look like a barn since I think the wood was barn wood anyway. So I think they turned out pretty well. I still might do the laundry room, but I'm not sure now after having done the cove. You have to put a coat of primer on first then two layers of paint. I'm not sure I'm up to it, but we'll see. I'm really on a painting kick. I'm nesting finally, since I feel good, finally.
