The Homestead

So this weekend Dave's work had a party at the Homestead in Midway, UT. It was a very beautiful place, picturesque, immaculate flower gardens (reminded me of Disneyland), and it was just a fun place to be. I'd love to go back sometime, but amongst all the festivities it was marred by the journey we took just getting there. I don't really want to go into details, needless to say Dave and I don't want to talk about it and it took us 3 hours to get to our 1 hour destination. I think we could have had a lot more fun, but it still was cool. I'm sure we'll look back and laugh on it some day, but today we can't even talk about it.

Anyway, they have a really cool crater where there are natural hot springs in this cave. We didn't get a pic, but there are a few others. The rooms were cute and Dave and Benji enjoyed swimming. Dave won $50 in a raffle from his company, they were also giving away 2 scooters, but alas we didn't win those. I'm sorry I can't say much else, I'm still trying to recover from the harrowing experience.

Benji on the closet bunkbeds. They were really cool hidden away in a closet or cubby.
