So have you read the "twilight" series?

So for a month or two now (maybe even longer) everyone has been asking me if I've read the "twilight" series. I hadn't, and I didn't know if I'd really want to read about vampires. So I finally borrowed the first book last week from my cousin Onge and that's why you haven't heard from me lately. I have been sucked into the whole series. I read the first book in 2 days and the second one in one day. I was going to start the third one tonight. I know you're probably asking yourself how did I do this with two kids and a house and a husband. Well let me tell you, I was a bad momma for a couple of days. I let Benji play on the computer for too long and I let James suffer on the floor or in the walker or in the swing. I also took a couple of days off in between books to play with the kids, but my house has suffered terribly. I haven't really wanted to do any housework besides laundry and a few dishes. It's terrible I know, but it has been so nice for me, a break from reality. Anyway the first book reminds me of how I felt reading the first Harry Potter, a little slow and hard to get into, but you have to learn about the characters somehow. The second book was better by far and I heard the third is even better. The fourth I know nothing about because it just came out a few days ago. Anyway for those who need an escape I recommend the "twilight" series. So has anyone else read them?
