The Tulip Festival
So we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. I forgot my camera, but we took my mom's. As soon as we got there we realized the batteries were dead. So no picks, but I will tell you a killer story. So the best thing about it was we rented a golf cart to drive around the gardens (they are huge). The weather was perfect the rain held up until we were done and then it came down in hail. The flowers were beautiful and we were followed by some old ladies. I'm not sure why, but they kept going where we went even though there are several different paths going lots of different directions. We fed the koi in the pond. So fun until the ladies came and made us move (did I mention it was so annoying). We visited a secret garden, which reminded me of one of my favorite books (bringing me back to my childhood, love). Waterfalls were beautiful, trees aplenty, smells so intoxicating. This is the first year I have gone and I think I am officially making it a new tradition. BEAUTIFUL! (Oh yeah did I mention I love the golf cart? I felt like a celebrity or a really old lady, I'm going with celebrity this time because although I am 30 I'm pretty sure it's not old just yet.)
