Parade of Insane

So today I went to the Parade of Homes with my second mother. It was completely insane. These homes are humongous and crazy. Elevators, theater rooms, pools with slides built in to the rock features and waterfalls, 2-3 full kitchens in each house, more bathrooms than there are bedrooms, these homes were crazy. I can see why some people would want some of these things, but the size of the house and the extravagance is something I would not want. Who wants to clean something the size of Costco? I suppose if you can afford a house that size then you could probably hire a full-time maid. I guess I am just getting used to the simple life, the cozy little house we live in, probably no more than a thousand square feet and I can barely keep up with it. I guess some people enjoy the posh lifestyle, but I'm happy with the simple things in life.
