Well the circus is in town and they had a parade of elephants running through the main streets of D.C. We went downtown to check it out. They handed out hats, red noses and pinwheels. It was a lot of fun and something that you may only see once in your lifetime.
Afterwards we hit the botanical garden where they have an exhibit of orchids going on. I LOVE orchids. It was so cool to see all the varieties they have along with all the other cool plants. All in all a really good day! (Just 5 more days to go, not that I'm counting)
