My New BBQ?

Well we've been trying to use our BBQ all summer, I think it worked once in the 3 times I attempted. Finally I decided to inspect and see what was going on. Low and behold there are huge holes all over the burner (thank you corrosion), so the gas wasn't escaping the way it should. I was kind of bummed about it. We can't really afford a new BBQ, but I hate cooking inside and heating up my house. I remembered my dad had fixed an old BBQ of ours once when we were little so I thought I'd look online and see if it was possible. Luckily we have the Internet and can so easily order parts like that, and they had them on several sights. So I ordered a new burner and a new igniter button, since James pulled the other one off with his teeth and lost it (it was the perfect height for the little devil). Well I installed most of it last week, but when we installed them we needed new ignitors too so they came in the mail the other day and I just installed them. It's like we have a new BBQ. Works like a dream. I don't remember it ever working so good. So today I would like to thank the Internet and my father for letting his little girl tag along all those years learning how to fix stuff. It saved us several hundreds by fixing instead of buying a new one.
