I bore my testimony today, and immediately after sacrament a member of the Bishopric asked to speak with me. They wanted to extend a calling to me, which was quite unexpected because I already had one. But I don't mind having two callings. The one I already have is not very time-consuming.
Anyways, it has been a really long time since I bore my testimony, so it was good to do it. Some things have been going on in my life that prompted me to do so. I have had opportunities to bear my testimony and explain the church and gospel to others not of the faith. I feel blessed to have had those opportunities.
This month has been very busy because of overnight work-related trips and training and Heidi going to KC. I have been away from my family more often than I would have wanted, but it's been good nonetheless. I will take two more 3-day 2-night trips in the next three weeks. What a busy month! We're going to take a break for a week though and do stuff around town as a family.
