Our Fun Friday

Well it doesn't happen very often, but we pulled off a pretty fun friday (that is after Dave got done working on his day off). I've been wanting to have new pictures taken of our boys, but we haven't had a lot of extra cash lately to do so. So I thought with my podunk little camera and a great location maybe I could eek something out. We headed to one of my favorite places Gardner Village. Only problem was my camera battery was dead. I took it anyway and we stuck the battery charger in the men's restroom (thanks to Dave because the one in the women's wasn't working) and headed out exploring.

We hit the Story book nook, we attempted the Christmas Shoppe, but thought better of it with James little wandering hands, the Naborhood Bakery, for a sweet treat for all our wandering, the Quilt Shop, Down Home, Afton's (for some yummy sodas, and cinnamon almonds, I think I ate the whole bag by myself. You can't blame me it was in my purse and before I knew it they were all gone, sorry honey (on further note you can see I quit my no sugar pretty quick, 5 days it lasted)), then we wandered back the way we came. By this time we thought maybe we had some juice in our camera so we went back and then we wandered trying to find perfect locations for pics.

I found this cute spot behind one of the stores, but Benji was saying "CHOOSE" instead of "CHEESE". And well James was not having any of it. This was just the beginning.

This one ended up being kind of decent.

This is the one of Benji that I love the most. He's such an obedient boy. I love him.

Benji took this one of me, I think he turned out to be the best photographer.

I was thinking maybe if I got a hold of James, him and I could take a decent picture together, but no. such. luck.

Finally I got a cute pic of James well this and another one, but to me this is all James. He's histerical.

Finally with only a little juice left I tried to take a family pic, this one turned out the best, but still not my favorite.

When we got home, which was about 7 we were all starving and decided to have a fire and roast some hotdogs and make my favorite s'mores. Dave accidentally brought out the cinnamon grahams, but it ended up being really good. We invited our cousins over and I took pics of them, but they all ended up blurry. BOO. See I have no good photography skills.



James finally got in the spirit of the photographs, but only a little too much.
