Well this morning I got the call to go pick apples. Lots of them too. I went with my sis-in-law and her dad. A lady was giving away her apples as long as you came and picked them. We spent about 1.5 hours picking and got 8.5 boxes full. When we put them all together we weren't sure if we were crazy or not because now we have to turn all those apples into applesauce. Yeah, we'll see on friday how well our plan pans out. We may want to rethink the whole idea of doing so much applesauce all at once but come this winter we may forget about the work that is going to go into it and enjoy the sweet nectar that is ours to consume. Only time will tell.
