Church

Well church is usually a hassle, especially for Dave (since I'm up leading the music). Well we've tried everything we could to entertain and try to distract the boys all Sacrament meeting long. Nothing seemed to work. Last week Dave read an article in the Ensign magazine that said you shouldn't have toys or coloring or anything to entertain your kids because they never learn to be quiet. It makes them more rowdy. So today we tried it and the boys were 90% better than they have been. It's a miracle. We quit everything, no snacks, no books, no drawing, nothing. I don't know if it works for everyone, but today was the first time in a long time that we have enjoyed church. They were quieter than they have been in a long time, they were still. They didn't want to run around the whole church. James escaped once, but it wasn't that bad. I think we're going to keep this up. I'm so excited.
