Yesterday I tackled applesauce. Thanks to my visiting teacher for providing me a few apples and for my parents who have 2 apple trees full of apples which I freely partook, I guess they were okay with it? And thanks to my Grandma Oakeson who left behind a victorio strainer it was really fun and easy to make applesauce. I think it turned out quite beautiful. I got 4 1/2 quarts and 11/2 quarts of pink applejuice. I know crazy right? Anyway thanks mom for letting me invade your kitchen these past few weeks. I couldn't have done it all without her and it is fun to share.
