A little piece of Heaven was given to us.
A glimpse into the place we long to be.
A piece to love, hold, cherish, adore,
But only a piece, and only for a short moment of time.
We longed to keep that piece of Heaven with us, forever,
But Heaven needed her back,
It's piece to make whole.
We ache inside for the loss,
We long to have Heaven with us always,
But know that through the glimpse of Heaven's eyes,
It is a place we long to live, to be, with her, always, for eternity.
