We had a friend party on saturday for Benji's birthday. He wanted a zombie party with a graveyard cake. We didn't really plan anything except for dinner. We had a mixed up dinner. They could order root rot (root beer), embalming fluid (7up), or pumpkin porridge (sunkist orange) for a drink. Face of warts (sausage pizza), brains (spaghetti), or bloody brains (spaghetti with sauce). There were also bones (bread sticks), ears (apple slices), and cat tails (carrots). And for dessert spiders (oreos with licorice spider legs) or dirt (pudding cup with crushed oreos and a gummy worm). After that we sort of let them do there own thing. It was a nice day so they played outside for an hour or so then came in had cake and ice cream, opened presents and then went downstairs to watch Scooby-Doo and Zombie Island. Easiest party ever and I hope the boys had fun. For a parting gift we gave them a baggie with dangling eyeball glasses, crazy teeth, green finger sucker, and a skull straw (all thankfully at the dollar store). I still can't believe I have an 8 year old. Time flies when you're having fun.
