I received a really good note from the teacher yesterday for James. For the boy who has been below his reading level for his grade all year, he is finally at or above where he should be. This makes me so happy. The hard work is paying off. It is so fun to see him finally getting it. And his response is classic..."So does that mean I don't have to read anymore?" Sorry buddy, unfortunately you have to keep reading and keep improving and keep working hard. Such a bummer. Well 1st grade is almost done, watch out second.
